How do I claim an online prize?

Prizes of $999.99 or less

If you win an online prize of $999.99 or less, the prize will be deposited directly into your Michigan Lottery account. You may withdraw winnings from your account at any time. The minimum withdrawal amount is $10.

Prizes greater than $999.99 and up to $99,999.99

If you win an online prize greater than $999.99 and up to and including $99,999.99, you must submit an online claim to process your winnings.

To start the claim process:

1. Visit Pending Prizes History. You will be prompted to sign in, and the Tax Reported Prizes section of your account will open.

2. Select the “Submit Claim” button for the applicable prize.

3. Follow the instructions to submit your claim.

You may need to upload clear and legible copies or photos of required identification, including a valid government-issued photo ID and a Social Security card. The name on the photo ID must match the name on the Social Security card.

After your claim has been submitted and approved, the prize will be deposited directly into your Michigan Lottery account. You may withdraw winnings from your account at any time. The minimum withdrawal amount is $10.

Prizes of $100,000 or more

If you win an online prize of $100,000 or more, you must submit an online claim and visit Lottery Headquarters, located at 101 E. Hillsdale Street, Lansing, MI 48933.

To start the claim process:

2. Select the “Submit Claim” button for the applicable prize.

3. Follow the instructions to submit your claim.

After you submit your claim, you will receive an email from the Michigan Lottery instructing you to call Lottery Player Relations at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment.

At your appointment, you must provide original copies of all required identification, including a valid government-issued photo ID and a Social Security card. The name on the photo ID must match the name on the Social Security card.
